Supported Living Care

Supported living services can help if you do not want to live in residential care but you are finding it difficult to cope in your own home. We believe with our service you can help transfer you in to one of our facilities. We will help you move into accommodation that provides you with round the clock support and care from a dedicated team of carers. You will have your own room but will share your amenities such as the kitchen, lounge and dining area. We will provide personalised care, everyone’s needs are different so our care is personalised and unique to each person. Our high quality supported living care is flexible and will adapt with any changes to personal circumstances. We understand the need to maintain privacy and dignity for our clients and we will always respect individual/family wishes when it comes to ones loved ones. We strongly believe that ‘life at home works’ whether you are in your own home or one of our homes.

Within our supported living service we care for individuals who have the following medical conditions:

Substance misuse

Substance misuse refers to the use of psychoactive substances in a way that is harmful or hazardous to health. This includes alcohol and illicit drugs. If you need treatment for substance addiction you are entitled to NHS care. The path to recovering from a substance misuse problem starts with you accepting your condition, that you have a problem. If you need residential support during your rehabilitation programme we will work closely with your GP to ensure you get the right level of support.

Eating disorders

The path to recovering from an eating disorder starts with you accepting your condition that you have a problem, to seeking help that will help you overcome the problem through experts that are dedicated to helping you return to your normal living conditions. Supported housing is one way that helps service users who have left a clinical environment and have reached medical stability but still need proper support to transition into independent living and real life situations to enable you to pursue your academic, vocational goals so that you can manage life with confidence, joy, feel hopeful about your future and experience a prosperous life.

Dementia Care

We provide ongoing, quality care for individuals suffering from dementia. We carry out a patient centred assessment for each of our residents to ensure that we provide the right care and support for you or your loved ones. We assist with activities of daily living, our carers have been trained to look after individuals who have dementia. We ensure that you or your loved is comfortable with the service we provide, comfortable with the carer(s) looking after them. We try to make their life as normal as possible.
